GU Alu-Jet 06 shear set with undercut angle

The GU ALU-JET 06 scissor set is an important part of the GU PSK (Parallel-Slide-Tilt) tilt-and-slide system for aluminum sliding patio doors and sliding windows. This system ensures that the sliding element first tilts inward in a controlled way and then slides smoothly along the track.

Unlike some other PSK systems, this version does not consist of two bottom corners, but of:

✔ 2 tilt mechanism parts that enable the tilt position
✔ 2 top corners with folding scissor arms
✔ connection with the GU PSK operation and rollers

The upper scissor arms fold outward when opening the sliding door, allowing the element to safely and controlled enter the sliding or tilt position.

Set structure

The complete scissor set consists of multiple moving parts that work together:

✔ 2 top corners with scissor arms
✔ 1 bottom corner
✔ 2 separate tilt mechanism parts
✔ couplings to the locking rods
✔ connection with the GU PSK handle/grip

When the handle is operated, the scissor arms unfold, releasing the sliding element from the frame and guiding it into the correct position.

System operation

When the handle is operated:

✔ the PSK mechanism unlocks
✔ the scissor arms move outward
✔ the element tilts open
✔ the door can then slide over the rollers
✔ the element is pulled tightly against the seals when closing again

The scissor arms play a crucial role in the stability and guidance of the element.
