Cylinder for core pull security fitting
It is important when installing sliding door fittings with core pull protection that the correct one is used cylinder is chosen because otherwise the lift-and-slide fitting would protrude too far.
Most sliding doors are 54 millimeters thick. A cylinder may have a maximum protrusion of 13 millimeters on the outside. When both sides are lined up together, plus the door thickness, the total is 80 millimeters. In this case you choose the cylinder 40/40.
It is also possible to work on the outside with a key and on the inside with a knob cylinder . The dimensions remain the same.
