What types of sliding doors are there?

Sliding doors are available in various shapes, sizes and colors. For a clear layout, we have three types of sliding doors in our webshop. The aluminum sliding door, lifting sliding door and the PSK tilt sliding door.

Standard sliding door

Standard sliding doors are made of aluminum, plastic, or wood. These sliding doors can open and close and therefore only slide. Unlike a lift-and-slide door or PSK tilt-and-slide door, a standard sliding door cannot tilt or lift. For this type of sliding doors, we have in our webshop the aluminum sliding door parts with handles, locks and rollers & wheels.

A lift-slide door has, as the name suggests, a lift function. When turning the handle of the lift-slide door, the sliding part rises and the sliding door can be opened. For the lift-slide door, we sell gu fittings, rollers, rails, rubbers, locks and other products.

A PSK tilt-and-slide door is operated by means of a handle. This moves the sliding part backwards, allowing the sliding door to slide along a rail located on the inside. In a tilt-and-slide door, a distinction is made between a 150 kg sliding door and a 200 kg sliding door. For the tilt-and-slide door, we sell hardware and handles, rollers, guide rails, covers and other tilt-and-slide door components.
