Difference between GU PSK 966 and PSK 968 handles

When replacing a handle on a PSK sliding door, it is essential to choose the correct type. In practice, confusion often arises between the PSK 966 and PSK 968 handles.

These handles are exclusively intended for GU (Gretsch-Unitas) systems and are not interchangeable.
GU PSK 966 handle – GU MZ 200 system
The PSK 966 handle is used on the GU MZ 200 system. This system is common in wooden and plastic sliding doors.

Important detail
As shown in the image, this handle has a straight, flat lip that slides into the mechanism.
This is the distinction with the 966, which has a 2-tooth connection.
